Marijuana is safer than the drugs that society regulates and controls--those that we have come to consider to be socially acceptable. Alcohol and tobacco both can cause overdose, as well as a wide myriad of illness and diseases, not to mention strong physical dependence for both as well.

It is scientifically and physically impossible for a human to OD on weed. It is less addictive than caffeine or aspirin, and has recently been shown to have no link with increased risks of lung cancer or degeneration of brain cells, among other things.

Just to be clear, the numbers here do not include deaths due to accidents due to the substance. I believe it's something like about 20 per year for cannabis worldwide

mind expanding, pain relieving, stress relief, bronchial and arterial dilator, anti nausea, digestion stimulating, impossible to over dose, violence free gift from God that our bodies are designed to consume....why exactly is this illegal still?

My dad did all of these, and trust me. The weed did not kill him.

I've been smoking weed heavily for six months and I've noticed absolutely NO changes other than my 3.5 GPA turning into a 4.0 GPA. It goes down every time I go a week without toking. Coincidence? I think not.
